Our Story

Established in South West London in 2011, Mine! began life offering luxury personalised fleece blankets in three sizes and colours. The range quickly grew to include towels and facecloths, along with three additional blanket colours.

To date Mine! has created bespoke gifts for kids of all ages, grown-ups, dogs, cats and even a horse! We have been commissioned to make beach towels for holiday cottages, blankets for boarding schools, towels for swimming classes, and Mr & Mrs sets, perfect as a wedding gift.

Rachel Burgess has been a seamstress since before she can remember and has always enjoyed creating lovely handmade gifts for her family and friends. She studied fashion at a London college before attending the Wimbledon School of Art and completing a degree in costume. Over the next 10 years Rachel worked in a variety of roles both in and out of the fashion industry and always continued with her sewing as a creative outlet. She quit her ‘proper’ job in 2011 to become more involved in Mine! and bought out the previous owner in 2013.

Now a mother of three, Rachel has continued to sew while raising her family, however Mine! took somewhat of a ‘back burner’ while her children were young. As the youngest (a set of twins!) begin school in September 2023, Rachel is ready to expand the range and looks forward to offering exciting new products in the next few years.

In the future Rachel hopes to grow Mine! by offering a wider choice of quality personalised products suitable for all!
